Mr. Riley joined Capital Southwest in 2019 and heads up our Special Situations Group with a particular focus on restructuring and value maximization initiatives across distressed and underperforming portfolio companies. He works closely with management teams and internal stakeholders to drive operational and financial improvements.  Previously, Mr. Riley served as a Vice President responsible for sourcing, structuring, and supporting diligence of new investments, as well as actively involved in post-closing portfolio company activities.

Prior to joining Capital Southwest, Mr. Riley worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP in their audit practice. He received a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Accounting from Southern Methodist University and is a Certified Public Accountant. Mr. Riley enjoys golfing and traveling in his spare time.
