Ryan Mullins

Mr. Mullins joined Capital Southwest in 2026 and is responsible for sourcing, structuring, and supporting the diligence of new investments, as well as broader firm business development initiatives. Previously, Mr. Mullins served as a Principal at Peak Rock Capital, where he focused on evaluating and executing private investments in lower middle market companies. Prior to that, he was a Principal at Atalaya Capital Management and Elm Park Capital Management, where he invested across the capital structure in opportunistic and special situations. Mr. Mullins began his career in investment banking, serving as an Assistant Vice President in Corporate Banking at Texas Capital and earlier as an Investment Banking Analyst at First Southwest (Now Hilltop Securities), where he focused on mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity financings, and corporate advisory. He received a bachelor’s degree in Corporate Finance from the University of Texas at Austin. Mr. Mullins enjoys trying new restaurants, unique travel experiences, and spending time with loved ones in his spare time.
