Corporate Governance
Capital Southwest is committed to transparent corporate governance which includes all employees and directors. We have six members on our board of directors, four of whom are independent directors. The directors are responsible for supervision of the company and valuation of investment assets on a quarterly basis.
In March 2007, Forbes named Capital Southwest as one of the 100 most trustworthy companies in the United States, based on its accounting transparency and fair dealing to stake-holders during 2006. This is not only a reflection of our concern for proper corporate governance, but also the integrity of the many executives at each of our portfolio companies.
